Defining porn is like defining art, everyone is going to have a different opinion on whether something does or does not qualify. Just as someone could photocopy their own backside and call it art, someone would read Katawa Shoujo and call it porn. In fact, I know several people, personally, who would classify it as porn because it includes sexual content.

In my own opinion, however, I would not classify KS as porn, for the same reason I wouldn't classify Lolita as porn, the sex takes a backseat to the story. Yes, there is erotic material to be found within, and no, it is not censored or downplayed in any way, but it is handled with taste and style. And that, I think, is what separates art and literature from blatant pornography. So far Emi, hanako and Shizune are the only routes i have completed so far, and i gotta say, Emi and Hanakos H-scenes did not excite me what so ever.
