Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Any advice for getting up for runs in the AM? I'm not a morning person but schedule changes have forced that to be the only time I have to possibly run, and for the whole month of November I've failed to get any more runs in. I know the simple answer is just to get up! But if anyone has anything ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
It was a grind but week 6 finished! Now just long runs every time...
It feels so good finishing these runs after feeling like crap during most of them. Tonight I was sore, tired, and out of breath for most of the 25 minutes but I did it anyways and it's amazing.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Much congrats to Gandara! Finished week 5 tonight and I gotta say it felt amazing! Didn't think I could even sniff 21 minutes, and it turns out I could have ran even more than that. Feels good!

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Week 4 finally completed after a few weeks of not being able to run much. Sometimes this really sucks, but it's teaching me so many lessons in perseverance. Never think I can finish the next run, or the next interval, but I do and feel so much better afterwards. Only problem is I've developed either ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Good job to everyone! I'm repeating week 3 since I was on vacation last week and didn't get to run. Today was easy though, so I might begrudgingly begin week 4 later this week. The one thing running has instilled in me (even though it's only been a short time) is perseverance. Just push through all ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
DrNonookee, as far as the whole 'lost cause' thing do not ever think that way. I suggest getting in touch with a poster on this topic named Gandara who was 400lbs when he started and is already down 40lbs without even doing the running of this program yet. It's all about persistence and in my ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Week 2 done, feelin' great as well! Just bought some minimalist running shoes though and my feet don't like me anymore, but that supposedly goes away after a little while.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
I too am pissed off at this amazing pain suddenly appearing at the lower right of my stomach. (i dunno if it's the kidney or appendix. I ain't good at science.) I was in the middle of the 5 min. run when it appeared so I thought maybe it'll pass at some point and kept going...But it hurt even more ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Anyway, I was curious, who actually made that Couch to 5k with Emi? Seeing that its working for everyone, I´d love to know. I'm not sure if it was just the OP who made the Emi part (with the charts and such) but the couch to 5k program has roots elsewhere, there's a few websites with that ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Just completed Week 1 today. Sort of rough since I'm out of shape but it's been good.
Gandara, I see you're in Milwaukee as well! Pretty small world I guess. We should run once you start doing that!

Re: Order?
That's pretty crazy because that is EXACTLY the way I did it, including the manly picnic on purpose after LillyLolzster wrote:emi--->lilly--->manly picnic (on purpose)---> Hanako---->Shizune----> Rin
Quite liked the order I did them in, went in blind and then went for the girl I wanted most

Re: Other Media that gave you "The Feels."
For some reason the game Catherine gave me the feels for a little while. That was probably the most recent prior to KS.
