Re: Recommend a VN
I hate you. No seriously, I really-really hate you for enduring the 6GB download. When I was downloading that thing, my damn PC suddenly cries out "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU Not enough memory...? Out of disk space? :o Anyway, it takes up 7.2 GB for installation as well, but all...

Of course, the whole thing isn't translated yet, but several routes have been translated. If you want some great comedy, this is something to try for sure.

Re: Mac Native Visual Novels
If memory serves bootcamp is just a virtual machine for macs and would require a copy of windows to work. Bootcamp is not a virtual machine. It allows Windows to be run natively on a Mac. That's the best option for any Mac gamer/VN fan. it requires a PC cd-rom which I don't have Do you mean your Ma...

Re: Which Storyline Did You Like The Best
Lilly, Lilly, and moar Lilly. I know very well that it's a "cliched" plotline, but it has never been done this well. Perfect presentation. I was literally in tears after Lilly's happy ending. Usually, happy endings don't make me cry manly tears. But this one did.

Re: How do you get the most out of this masterpiece?
Best way is to NOT read any order recommendations or any walkthroughs and choose the options you want and go through it on your own.

Re: How Has Katawa Shoujo Changed You If it Has?
I kinda feel like a weirdo among you guys, really. Cause KS didn't change the way I think at all. :/ Though I guess I can chalk it upto already having a view that is realistic enough in my opinion.
However, what it did is make me a fan of visual novels. A medium that I wouldn't have tried otherwise.

Re: After Reading Lilly and Emi's Story
I don't see the connection. KS has nothing about stuff like video game addiction... o.O (That is, of course, assuming that you were addicted in the first place. If you weren't addicted, no reason to "quit", of course.)Crypt wrote:

Hanako->Lilly->Emi->Shizune->Rin
Wish I did Lilly arc last, though, as that's the one that I enjoyed the most.

Re: Recommend a VN
I'd still say it's not worth playing through Kei's or Miki's routes, though. Naoya and Tama's father aren't really necessary to know before meeting them in Alternative and Unlimited. Maybe Naoya a bit so, (in which case, just Kei's route would do. Even then, I'd argue against it, as IMO, it's not wo...

Re: Chinese Cartoon Perversion
Dude, how can you have a crush on a fictional character? I get you might like it a lot, but I mean, wanting to marry it or something like that is going to far. I would definetly fall for a girl LIKE Hanako or Lilly, but not for a cartoon. Some have started this way, and now they've ended up fucking...

Re: Recommend a VN
Well comedy is my favourite genre of VN, so I should like it. Apparently playing Extra and Unlimited is a must for Alternative, but ultimately that is the only reason anyone ever picks up Extra in the first place. Are the other routes in Extra worth doing? How many routes does Unlimited have and ar...

Re: Recommend a VN
Also, has anyone here played the Muv-Luv trilogy? I'm thinking of playing it after ef but I'm still unsure. Is Extra really as bad as they say it is? Extra being "bad" is a highly exaggerated opinion. The Muv-Luv series, including Extra, basically tells one of the best stories every told ...

Re: Chinese Cartoon Perversion
I guess it depends on a person's personality. However, I feel it's no different to having a celebrity crush either. And MANY people have those. Of course they can say that the celebrity is a real person. But is that real person who they come to admire? Most of the cases, no. Instead, they come to ad...
