Re: Lessons Learned from KS

This may sound depressing, but one of the things I've learned is that most people in my life currently are just really shallow. If I had anyone like these characters in my life, disabilities or not, it'd be quite amazing. I almost forgot about that. I also realized that people in my life are just u...

Re: Lessons Learned from KS

I learned to live life a little more leniently, and also made me wonder about my stance on girls, and how looks may not be everything. Sometimes just because they got a disability doesnt mean they arent for you. Before Katawa Shoujo I really just paid no attention to them, but now I almost think it ...

Re: Curious little experience I had today.

Oh yeah, it really helps to be able to see the guy's expression. I think its actually something thats relied on a bit in signing. Also mouthing sometimes comes into play for certain words. It's a visual language, and facial expressions and body movements are important. My understanding is that ther...

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it

Just thought I'd pop in to state that staring at TV and computer screens does not cause long-term vision degradation. According to this document by the American Optometric Association: based on current evidence it is unlikely that the use of computers causes permanent changes or damage to the eyes ...

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it

I can't read anything, even directly in front of my face without glasses. I don't think its as serious as to consider myself having a physical disability though. My family seems to have a history of bad eyesight as every photo I've seen of my dad's side has people wearing glasses, I've had glasses ...

Re: Curious little experience I had today.

I was wondering if anyone had started a sign language thread and I'm happy to see one here. Memrise just recently started a basic sign language course, obviously its far from being perfect or complete but it should help beginners. http://www.memrise.com/set/10022578/basic-signs/ There's also, of co...

Re: What Route Has the Most Text / Is the Longest?

Lilly's is almost twice as long as everyone else's from my experience and I bet many others.

Hanako's is the shortest Id say.

Re: I am a Bit Stuck On What I Should Skip and What I Should

I skipped through a lot of Shizune and Rins playthrough. I really need to go back and redo them because of that so i know whats happening! It sounds like you're talking about an entirely different kind of skipping than everyone else. It's impossible to use the Skip Mode feature to skip over anythin...

Re: I am a Bit Stuck On What I Should Skip and What I Should

Frankly I dont think skipping is a good idea. I skipped throught certain parts and I thought I was fine. But when you skip you accidently miss so many little things that by the end you have no idea some of the fine details you should know, or you may not know whats going on at ALL! I skipped through...

Re: Full Flowcharts with Scenes

I always found it annoying how one choice all the way at the end of the game can give you the neutral ending :(

Luckily, I got all the good ones without trying.

Great charts though!
