Re: Can't start on Linux, TypeError: must be string, not uni
Actually it looks like he's fixing bugs in py4renpy (which is MIT licensed) that are preventing it from properly loading the game. Where he talks about unpickling is just how python loads the files, it has nothing to do with editing actual game files. If this works with 32 bit machines there's no ...

Re: Timeline?
Meeting Lilly in Act 4 is basically a total script error. She should have left for Scotland permanently after the fishing trip. I'm not too sure. (warning amateur psychology incoming) I think she used the summons to get away from Hisao, she was so afraid of losing him that she was going to cut it ...

Re: Question about Act 4 Hanako, possible glitch or....
I think the glitch is that you are presented with a choice when you aren't supposed to have one. For instance, in another route: With Emi, if you don't talk with Mutou near the end, you won't get the opportunity to speak with the mother, instead being railroaded into following Emi. It seems the ...

Re: Emotional Attachment to KS
In general, I usually find myself very invested in stories I read/watch/play. However, I think what really gets to you is when you find a route where you aren't imagining being involved in the story, but remembering . This was my case with Shizune's route. From another thread ( http://ks.renai.us ...

Re: Am I the only one that enjoyed Shizune's route?
Some more things I was thinking about... 1. The 'good end' isn't good enough This has been said (basically) a few times. One of the big things is not returning the 'I love you' in any meaningful way 2. The 'bad end' isn't bad enough, or not bad in the right way The bad end would fit better if there ...

Re: Am I the only one that enjoyed Shizune's route?
Regarding choices, I've done a fair bit of running through on skip mode to check some things. Most choices only give a slight change in the current/next scene, though in emi's route, it was interesting that a choice earlier on in the route could determine whether you got a choice later or got ...

Re: Am I the only one that enjoyed Shizune's route?
I don't think it's a "relationship on hold" so much as one with someone who not only has never had one but isn't sure of what being a girlfriend really means yet. You're right, maybe its not the best term, but I kept quoting it not for emphasis but just to refer back. However, with 'not knowing ...
