Re: Lilly's Route
Lilly's route is what happens when Hanako gets what she says she wants in her bad ending. Although Lilly's and Hisao's friendship enabled Hanako to open up initially, they became too omnipresent and too overprotective of her. In Hanako's path, Lilly figures it out too late to avert disaster: you ...

Re: Lilly's Route
Lilly's route was the final one I played because I read multiple times that it was the best. I also had sections of it spoiled for me, alas, including that there was a twist at the end. Still, it was one of the happiest and I'm glad I ended on it. It's interesting to see how much Hanako grows ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
Shangz, I agree totally with you in regards to Rin needing Hisao more than anyone else. It's what makes this one so memorable for me and why it was so important to me to find evidence that Hisao really does care for her. In other paths Emi complains about no one joining her morning run and that's ...

Re: Lilly twist (spoilers)
I think you're looking at it slightly the wrong way. It's not just returning to the parents that gave her up all those years ago; it's also staying with Akira, her sister who took care of her for all those years. It's important as well that it happened this way. Lilly was afraid of losing Hisao and ...

Re: Happiest route *no spoilers please*
Probably Emi's. Her disability never really factors into her life and her relationship with Hisao seems pretty much perfect. After that would be Lilly's. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people would find this one the happiest since although she has a significant disability, it doesn't seem ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
sorry for double post. her body is also significantly unshapely compared to other characters so this is not a "style" or "anatomy error", this might point out to what's wrong with her. Isn't that more to do with her love of food? Sexy either way. Anyways - this is a bit of a stretch, but - if ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
I finished playing through all paths today and for some reason my mind still keeps coming back to Rin. I think it's because that the future she shares with Hisao is so uncertain.
Maybe their will to work through their problems makes it the sweetest?

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
I just got done with Rin's story, I got the "neutral ending", I got the ending where they are walking in the rain and she tells him about getting a scholarship to University of Tokyo. I will be perfectly honest, this path did not sit really well with me. You really should replay it for the good ...

Re: Feelings toward Kenji.
I feel sad that, provided it doesn't happen in Lili's route, Kenji's left so miserable. When you play through multiple paths, you find out little tidbits of his backstory that make him seem more human. He's probably one "cute girl" from getting over his conspiracies, maybe.

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
What makes the fight between Hisao and Rin so tragic is that neither one of them can understand each other. Rin asks Hisao to comfort her and that she "needs him", however he interprets that she just is using him as some sort of artistic muse. Unless I'm not remembering it properly, that's how it ...

Re: Shizune's path
Shizune's route has been my least favourite. It was probably a strain to write one shared by Misha as well, thoguh. It feels like the characters don't develop as much apart from discovering Misha's resolve to become a teacher taking supplementary classes. I think the tone of the ending sort of ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*
...I found the ending rather bittersweet as well and I'm not sure why. ... It really killed me though that Hisao didn't say that he loved her back, despite all the inner-monologue text to that effect. Was the point a role-reversal? Rin was able to say it to Hisao while he eventually responded with ...
