Max power doesn't phase my computer at all. F@H's thread priority is pretty low by default (I think), meaning it will prefer giving other processes CPU time over F@H when it has to choose. I figured that I'd put all those unused CPU cycles to good use, seeing as I put together this pretty powerful desktop computer, but use it to browse the Internet most of the day. I can't send money, but I can provide some processing power to a good cause.

I just built a desktop computer a few months ago, and I remembered about Folding@Home. I'm not very active on the forums here; I lurk most of the time. However, I figured extra members of the team would be appreciated, so I joined, if that's alright with you.

At first glance, the beta seems to work okay. I'll do some more extensive testing over the weekend when I have time for it, measuring both memory and CPU usage, looking for glitches, etc.

I like that I can play fullscreen now; it wasn't available with the earlier release.
