In fact, I'd recommend using a photo as a pose reference, and just look at the character sprites to get all the costume/hair/face details.

It's a good start. You did an okay job on the shading on the clothes and hair, so it's not flat and lifeless. However, you a) Missed the Fan Art subforum and b) the pose looks straight out of the VN and is a bit boring. Sorry I didn't know there was one. I'm still an amateur artist and need to ...
