Re: How long did it take until you started your second path?

Let's see. Loading up my save files, I finished Hanako's route Christmas Day 2012, started Rin's route on December 27th. So I took a one day break between my first and second routes. That's about the average break time, scrolling through my saves. (Finished Rin January 5th 2013, started Emi January ...

Re: Why have so many people taken Hanako's route first?

My reading of the Bad Ending is more complicated than "Hisao was being an overbearing White Knight that couldn't respect the fact that Hanako's a strong, independent woman that don't need no man." Yeah, his behavior was overboard; pushing the issue close to a dozen times was far too much, and he ...

Re: Why have so many people taken Hanako's route first?

I went for Hanako first because I find her the most physically attractive, think she has a heartwarming personality, and am drawn to girls that seem to have a deep inner/emotional world. There's nothing wrong with going down someone's route due to the promise of a tragic backstory, though. Tragic ...

Re: What would you have done if you made the game?

There's just this... [shimmie]1[/shimmie] What's with the 'page 72' at the bottom? Was this supposed to be a page from some kind of pretend Visual Novel magazine? If that's the case, pretty neat! Quite authentic looking. Based on that page alone, I would probably have signed up for Hanako because I ...

Re: Activities the girls would all enjoy doing together

They're teenage girls, the answer is obvious. Shopping. Probably for clothes. Hmm, I'm not sure that would work for all five of them. I think Hanako would enjoy clothes shopping; she does seem to put some emphasis on style judging by her snazzy city clothes, and I think she's the most traditional ...

Re: Who would be the seme and uke in the following pairings?

I think this is an interesting thread. Seme/uke extends far beyond just sex after all, the terms apply to the overall dynamics of a relationship. 1. If the idea of Yuuko being Kenji's ex-girlfriend is true, the obsessive, needy streak he displays makes it pretty easy for me to imagine him being the ...

Re: The wrong reaction to a grave mistake.

I vaguely recall a story like that. But not the details. But damn, he would have to be the master of romance to get back on her good side after that. She'd hardly let him back in after throwing him out. I and would proably shun him afterwards. Hmm. Personally, I think that Hanako's Bad Ending is ...

Re: Who has the most PTSD?

Off-topic, but your avatar makes me wonder, are you someone I know from another forum? (I use the same username and avatar there, so if you don't recognize me the answer's no) Speaking of Emi's response to trauma, her thoughts on "I'm so sorry" (U COULDN'T HAVE DONE ANYTHING NEWAY) vs. "These things ...

Re: Who has the most PTSD?

Lilly, totally fine. Yeah, Lilly's more at peace than the average person, I would say - Shizune's the closest to 'normal' emotionally speaking (since Lilly has an above average level of contentedness with her life and less malice than the average person), with Hanako, Emi, and Rin the troubled ones ...

Re: Who has the most PTSD?

That wasn't murder it was mercy killing, Kenji knew Hisao didn't got together with any of the girls amd decided death was the better option for him Haha, what. I can't tell if this post is serious or not, but it's hilarious either way. I didn't have a girlfriend at 18 either, but I'm quite ...

Re: Emis and Yuukos

Original Yuuko on the other hand has a decent design. ... However, it doesn't fit her. When I first played the demo, I thought she was another student. Old Yuuko looks less mature to you? Huh. The original Yuuko looks older to me and gives the impression of a young, new teacher. The finalized Yuuko ...

Re: The Ratings Charts (Profile the characters)

Not accurate at all. I was just kidding with that chart. :P Though in all seriousness, I would give Mutou and Jigoro much higher scores for their social skills... a 6 and an 8, perhaps. Mutou's social awkwardness, much as it's trumped up in the narrative sometimes, seems to me an example of telling ...

Re: The Ratings Charts (Profile the characters)

Haha, Xan using blue and orange for Rin's morality was cute. And I'm not sure how the cryptography and picnic scenes imply that Yuuko's a slut who bangs a different guy each day during her lunch break at the Shanghai, but I'm not complaining. 8) Maybe she's always so nervous whenever Hisao comes ...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.

Shiizune's routes is one of the most emotional so save it for last. I think this is the first time I've ever heard anybody say that. Well I'm glad someone thinks so. All I keep hearing is how bad it is. I love Shizune's route as much as I love the rest of Katawa Shoujo, but I think what ...
