Here's something I wrote for a one-shot contest (limit 2,000 words). It didn't win, but what the hey.

Was he being fired from Yamaku, or somewhere he worked prior to his employment there? If it's Yamaku being defunded, you might want to go into that a bit more - plus, I mean, a school doesn't just fold up on short notice. They need to finish the year etc.

Didn't you read it? I thought it was pretty clear from context…

Judging by the fact that this takes place before the game, and Mutou mentions getting back into teaching, I thought it was pretty clear.

It was late and I was tired. Now that I look at in the light of the morning, it is pretty obvious.
