Is that supposed to be their daughter? I'd imagine they'd look older, unless Lilly's birth control somehow failed during her route...
It's supposed to be their daughter, yeah.

And remember: Meiko is the mother of a 19 year old, but doesn't look a day over 20. It's likely the animu art-style at it again.
I write take a look, would you kindly?
I also draw, kind of.

She actually has the same kind of appearance as some of the real-life mid-40s Japanese ladies I've met who have kids — some of whom I've taught.
Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.

Asian ageing graphic :D
Actually, there are three routes, all of which I've observed personally.

1) The Bad Ending (depicted in that graphic) — some Asians balloon after a certain age, then deflate, true; diet, healthcare etc.
2) The Neutral Ending — normal ageing, they go grey, a bit stockier, then gracefully wither.
3) The Good Ending — 50-65 is a smooth transition, the hair is greying but everything's more or less the same. 65-80 is smooth, they hit 80-85 with pure white hair and still look distinguished, and you can see glimpses of what they were like at 25. 80+ is stately but clearly old. :)

No, it's because in that picture Shizune is about 9ft+ in size.

Is that supposed to be their daughter? Because she looks like she's supposed to be maybe eight or so, but they sure don't look eight years older. Could be interference from the art style, though.

But yeah, d'awww
I think the problem is also that they're wearing the same clothing.

Who says it actually IS their daughter?
They could quite easily become the Japanese Fred and Rose West. Just sayin'.

Also Lilly's eyes seem to be tracking. That doesn't sit right with me. It's sick and wrong. :D

Although I know that Shizune is clutching her skirt tightly because of her feels, I keep thinking that she is clutching because she got her period :?
