10k users!

I was going to post something for Lilly's birthday on Feb 10, but I found that pandaphil already made a topic a day early. So this time, I'm jumping the gun.
Almost 10,000 accounts made! Only 18 more! Awesome! We should totally all get online at the same time and try to out-do the 544 users on Jan 3, 2012. Or something.
Sorry if this counts as off topic, I figured the KS community is a closely related topic to Katawa Shoujo. If I'm wrong please lock or delete this post, sorry for wasting your time.

We need a party re-skinning for the board, at least for a day, and then all get hammered and hang around like 1:00 GMT or something.

And then all fall off of a roof and die simultaneously.

I can't promise to do more than have a soda and fall off my chair. Well, more likely I'll just slump down in my chair. Ah, screw the whole thing.

If they buy me the kitchen in Wales, they can go ahead and remodel it

Glasgow too. Huh, wonder if they'll start providing their services in Inverness.

It's either the kitchen modeling spam or the tons of bots than can bypass other bot detection measures available to us. Enjoy your new kitchens.

I never noticed it before, but the user IDs don't seem to have followed the number of users. What the dealio?

I'm not an expert on phpBB, but pretty sure it's caused by deleted accounts. The ids are a running integer, but the count of members is only the actually existing accounts.

Ah. Somehow it didn't occur to me that accounts could be deleted.
Well, current last userid seems to be 16131, with a user count of 9984 users. Assuming they started at 1, that's 6147 deleted accounts, or 38.1% (!) of all accounts ever created. Seems high!
Also, lowest userid is 2. Who was 1?

Maybe you'll allow me a way to delete all those bot accounts now. One can hope...
