How?

Hello everyone!
I' ve just completed the game. For the third time, actually. It's wonderful. Save for the moments when you accidentally click on a dialogue option and realize the last time you saved the game was half an hour ago.
This time I went for Lilly and it became my favourite path. But that's not the point.
I got Emi's good ending. I got Hanako's good ending. Now I got Lilly's good ending. Not that I complain, but I really don't know how I managed to do it. I'm unsociable and I have no friends. I realized I behave a bit like Hanako, like when I am asked about a book I'm reading and in response, I just show its' cover to the asking person instead of simply answering. I didn't ever think of myself as of a sympathetic person.
So now I am wondering whether I should go and find some friends or it's just that devs ara as unsociable as me and our ways of thinking are similiar, what led to such a good result.

Probably both ;D I'm not exactly the most sociable either, except I don't usually read :C
Welcome to the forums, by the way!

I'll just let the devs answer this.
Anyway, it's just obvious that the more you spend your time in internet forum [not just this, but any internet forums],
the less you spend your time in real life.
And welcome to the forum.

It's probably because Hisao was there to do the socializing for you. You just had to supply the mindset.
I'm curious as to how you'll do in Rin's route.

Yer a wizard, andro.
Nah, but seriously, good job.
Don't get all the good ends first though or there'll be nothing to soften up the bad and neutral ones!

theres no great mystery to getting the good endings. It's just a matter of using a bit of common sense and actually paying attention to what makes the girls tick.

Well, you have a couple of advantages in playing a VN as opposed to doing things in real life. Finite decision points, save slots, narrative logic, etc.
In real life, every moment is a decision, you can't reload an earlier point in time, and you're not always guaranteed a "good end" by making the right choices (although it certainly tilts the odds in your favor).

On the other hand, the artwork detail and framerates are
insane.

I like you.

Nah. We don't need one. We expect people to just jump right in and make themselves know by what they say, not who they say they are.

Not to mention the character animations and lipsyncing!

Both have advantages and disadvantages. There are a lot more... stimulating H-scenes IRL, but the gameplay is less intense, with constantly repeating knock-out-the-alarm-clock, make-yourself-a-sandwich (and so on) minigames. Guess it's a matter of one's preferences.
Still, you can't play VNs without some real life skills, like managing to pay your electricity bills

Should you go make friends? That all depends on if you want to make friends or not. If you want to, then hell yeah, go do it.
