KS and Aircraft Scale Modeling?

I'm pretty into scale modeling, and I'm pretty into KS, so I thought I'd combine the two.

The main purpose of this venture was to experiment with custom printing decals. Far too late did I realize that most printers (including my own personal inkjet) cannot print white ink. Thus, I had to mask off the Hanako area and paint it white beforehand.

Images are big so I'll just throw down the links.

I'm not exactly happy with the finish, so I may try another one once I've honed my skills a bit more. Sky blue with Shizune perhaps?

Odd choice of aircraft, but still pretty cool though, and the decal looks great!

Might I suggest an F9F Bearcat, a P-51, or Airacobra? All military aircraft that had long careers as racing planes. So they wouldn't look quite so out of place with custom markings.

Hmm, and I see Misha is in the lead. Apparently a lot of people want to see a pink plane. :)

I chose the Hellcat because it was pretty cheap ARII kit that I didn't feel bad painting purple.

If I were to build another one, it would probably be a corsair so that I could mess around with how the gull wings affect the decals. It also has a bit of a racing history, and I've heard the ARII kit is nice for it's price too.

Rin! Rin! Rin!
(Make it a blimp or a balloon though, wings are overrated)
Love the Hanako one though, this is a great idea.
