Import Act I saves to the full game?

I just finished the Act I version since my internet isn't great and I was just looking for a small extract of the game, but I really like it and I plan to download the full game. This will take me a night but I wanted to know if I can load my saves from Act I to the full game, since I think the early game was really boring.

From the FAQs:

Q: Does the save data from the Act 1 demo work with the full version of KS, or vice versa?
A: The save data from Act 1 will not work with KS full version, and vice versa. 4LS does not take responsibility for any problems resulting from attempting to port save files from one version to another.
