Hey, I'm having trouble playing this game. Downloaded the full version from http://www.katawa-shoujo.com/download.php and am running on Mac OSX.

When it loads up I see the opening screen but can't click anything. I was able to fumble around with the keyboard to get playing, but now I can't save because the F3 save window requires you to click. Any advice?

Do you use a mouse or a touchpad?

Touchpad. Would that make a difference? Clicking through dialog works fine, and right clicking to bring up the menu works. I just can't select anything.

If it helps, I'm on OSX 10.8.3.

Use the up and down arrow keys and hit return when your selection is highlighted.

The up and down keys seem to have no effect. Should they?

They certainly should. It's how I go through the menus on my Mac w/OS 10.8.3! I use right and left arrows as well in the save/load menu, and scrolling when there are too many save points to list at one time.

I guess I don't know what the problem could be.

Hmm, never tried using the right-click to get the menu—I always use the escape key. A little experiment does bring up the menu for me. And just moving the mouse over the menu items highlights them.

I don't know how the problem you're having could be specific to KS unless somehow it's a corrupted version.
