Each KS Heroine categorized by Myers Briggs

I myself found out what a Myers Briggs test is recently (This link explains: http://www.personalitypathways.com/MBTI_intro.html). Basically, it determines that a person is one of 16 personalities. Each personality is a 4 letter code consisting of E (Extrovert) or I (Introvert), S (Sensing) or N (Intuitive), T (Thinking) or F (Feeling), and J (Judgmental) or P (Perceiving). I, for example, am INFP, also known as an Idealist or Healer. It isn't a perfect system, especially when determining the personality of fictional characters, but from my experience and the experiences of several people I got to take the test, it has the potential to be highly accurate if answered correctly.
I have used a basic test at this link (http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html) to determine the personality type of each KS heroine (although much longer tests are available, like the one I took, I can't answer everything for each girl). Here are my results:
Shizune: ESTJ. The Guardian
E. While being deaf and mute, Shizune strives to communicate a great deal and succeeds through her boisterous translator Misha. If gifted with a voice, she would clearly be more noticeable as the extrovert she is.
S. While the iNtuitive are imaginative and creative, the Sensing are more common-sense and practical like Shizune in her managing of the school via student council leadership.
T. Shizune focuses more on objective facts and logic, whereas a Feeler (like myself) focuses more on... well... feelings, and use subjective opinions when forming decisions.
J. Shizune tries to be orderly and focused on the task at hand, while Perceivers are less worried about the deadlines.
Her profile seems fairly accurate, but I would like to be corrected if I am wrong.
Lilly: ISFJ. The Nurturer
I. No evidence beyond her sociability suggests that she is extroverted, and she seems to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the town surrounding Yamaku as well as the quiet, isolated cabin from their vacation.
S. While I can't find evidence in the novel, the ISFJ profile fits her much better than INFJ (Protector). If you can, give me an example to edit in.
F. While Shizune seems to take a hardline, practical, by-the-book (or by-her-judgement), objective approach to everything, Lilly incorporates her feelings into her decisions rather than only facts. Her first decision to leave Japan contradicts this, but her ultimate decision to stay with Hisao is triggered by her stronger Feeling side. It is obvious that she is a Feeler rather than a Thinker.
J. Lilly seems to plan ahead her life far in advance (becoming an English teacher, going to Japan) unlike many characters of the novel who haven't the slightest idea of what their futures will be.
I, F, and J are fairly obvious, but any help with affirming or negating her as a Senser would be much appreciated
Emi: ESTP: The Doer
E. Emi is highly popular and talkative. There is no questioning her extroverted personality.
S. Emi lives in the moment. She doesn't focus on what's beyond the curve, just getting around that curve. Hisao's analysis of her running and his own running proves this.
T. Emi prefers not to share her feelings. It takes Hisao an extreme amount of effort and cunning to make her comfortable with revealing her feelings. While not a strong thinker, she clearly has a highly undeveloped feeling side. Also, she accepts her personal conflict over her father, whereas a Feeler would go insane over that without settling it.
P. The "around the curve" analogy works again: Emi doesn't plan for what's around the curve, she just does. She pushes forward. She doesn't plan what she's going to do with her life, unless you count becoming a pirate.
I feel more strongly about being correct with Emi's diagnosis than any of the other heroines.
Hanako: I?F?: The Hanako (?)
I. If you think she is an extrovert, go home.
?. I have found no evidence. Please help.
- One is mentally living in the now, one is mentally living in the future. Hanako mentally lives in the past, so that is troubling me.
F. Hanako is naturally sensitive to what others say, as evidenced by, I don't know, the entire novel?
?. I would lean P, but I have no clue to be honest. I need some help with evidence.
I have a strong feeling in my gut that she qualifies as an INFP, but any help with figuring this out would be much appreciated.
Rin: ISFP: The Artist
I. Again, evidenced by everything she does. She keeps to herself and even lives as a hermit.
S. Rin mentally lives in the now and hates impreciseness in others' speech.
F. While not connecting with others outside of art, Rin always employs personal feelings on situations while never looking just at facts.
P. Judgmental people plan ahead. Rin hasn't tried that once.
Like Emi, I feel strongly with Rin that I have hit the nail on the head.
If you think that I am wrong (which is likely), or you want to try and answer for other KS characters, go ahead and leave a reply. My main motive behind doing this post is figuring out the characters of the VN so that I can understand the motives of their actions better (especially Rin), so constructive criticism is much appreciated.
Edit: I think Kenji and Mutou are INTJ (Scientist), Hisao changes by route, Jigoro is ESTJ, Nurse is ESFJ. Done trying for now.
Edit 2: Fixed a mistake with Rin for S, fixed 2 titles
Edit 3: Here is an update on my selections:
Shizune remains ESTJ (My mortal enemy).
Lilly remains ISFJ.
Emi has switched from ESTP to ESFJ. Why?
While Emi has an undeveloped Feeling Side, the same goes for Thinking. MBTI looks for natural preference, and her lack of Feeling is due to her suppression of her own feelings and stubbornness towards not allowing others to help her through problems. Her lack of F development is artificial, so naturally she must prefer F.
I used a bad analogy for P originally due to my original misunderstanding of J/P. It is very obvious that Emi sticks to a strict routine and will not tolerate deviance from her plan of suppressing others' ability to support her.
Hanako is now an ISFJ. Why?
S mainly because the VN gives no evidence of her iNtuitive side and she obviously qualifies for some aspects of Sensing (like aware of surroundings). I still don't find much evidence supporting S, but the ISFJ profile seems to fit her better than INFJ.
J because Hanako cannot deal with the unexpected, she freaks out.
Rin has switched from ISFP to INFP (The same as me... scary). Why?
At the time, I was comwhat confused on the defining characteristics of S and N, and it is clear that Rin thinks of the abstract possibilities and ideas rather than just what "is."
