Here are my current stats.
Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
Linux 3.5.0-26-generic x68_64
4 GB Ram
nVidia 8500GT Video card

Neither the .py or .sh script will start nothing happen there is a bit of system load for a bit then the process dissappears. I know the renpy is installed and functional I can start it by itself.

Nevermind I figured out a solution without making a huge mess. Just load up virtual box with another copy of Ubuntu x68 and then fire up the game. It's a way of over coming the x64 problem.

There's actually a space-friendly solution to that. Ever considered ia32-libs?
