Anyway, Emi was my first ending.
Good or bad?
Ohh... didn't make myself clear...

Good. It was a good experience, thus, being the Good ending.
Lucky you. I fell off the roof then got her bad end. I went after her during the dinner scene thinking I'd calm her down...But then Hisao had to start talking.

Heated, ain't it?

As stated before, I got the regular Emi Good end my first run-through, miraculously landed Rin's good end (had to think quite a while during her decision points), landed Hanako's good end (phew), landed Shizune's good end (stop.wmv). I have yet to do Lilly's, a little hesitant, though I'm not sure why.

A couple friends of mine tried out Katawa Shoujo during a lunch period. Both of them got Kenji's end. Poor souls.

Oh, you can't not do Lilly's. Hesitation is for feminists. :P

I have vague memories of a Jigoro/Kenji ending but I think my brain is just blending KS with a bad (yaoi) end from the VN I played before it.

I watched her bad ending on Youtube and holy crap thats depressing. Of course, like Hanako's Every bad ending its the result of Hisao being a dumbass.
FTFY
Emi's is the result of Emi being a stubborn cunt.

Hanako's is the result of Hanako being stupid.

Rin's is the result of, god forbid, wanting to know what the hell someone is talking about.

You were saying? :P
But you did lay all of the blame on them. Right there.
The whole point of Emi's and Hanako's routes was that you can't force people to let you help them. The point of the whole game, arguably, was that you should always treat people with respect.
And when you use the word "cunt" that way, you're asserting that your right to act like a sexist ass is more important than a woman's right to be treated with respect. You do have a right to act like a sexist ass, but not at someone else's expense.
This forum is here for us to celebrate a shared experience (the game). Your language and attitude made me (and others, I imagine) uncomfortable. If there is a place where that behavior is appropriate, it isn't here.

*sigh* Let me put this as clearly as I can, and as nicely as I feel you deserve:

1) EVERYONE is to blame. I'm real fuckin' sorry I didn't specify that for you when Hisao's blame had already been noted in the discussion and was therefore redundant to mention but get the fuck over it.

2) I'm not a sexist. You just assumed that based on flimsy bullshit in your own head. You are, however, a cunt and the evidence for that is pretty clear given your sad little assumption that you can just decree what total strangers are allowed to say or not.

3) You're uncomfortable? Sue me. You're on the internet, a public place. Learn to deal. Maybe the next time you're uncomfortable, you can explain as such in a civil manner in private to avoid derail (as anyone else is welcome to do) instead of arrogantly and moronically just demanding shit out of nowhere for no given reason. As MIRACULOUS as it may seem, doing that makes you an asshole and makes me incredibly disinclined to give a shit about your comfort. Now fuck off, please.

Also, don't use the word "the." Ever. It makes me uncomfortable and my random unexplained demands are very important.

Xanatos, it makes me uncomfortable that you lay all the blame on the women. On Emi's route, at least, Hisao keeps pushing her even though she repeatedly tells him, no, back off, she doesn't want him to do that. For a lot of women, there are few things more terrifying than a man who won't respect boundaries and won't take no for an answer. Also, don't use the word "cunt." Ever.

Exactly. "Hey, you don't know me and this is my first post but NEVER USE WORDS I DON'T LIKE. EVER. NO, I WON'T EXPLAIN MY RANDOM ARROGANT DEMANDS, JUST DO IT. Also, you're a sexist ass. Just 'cause. Explanations? Fuck you."

What was your first ending, by the way? I'm gonna guess...Rin? You seem like a Rin person.

@Xan, My first ending was Emi's good via the "Saving Throw" scene, cuz there's no way I'd pass up a chance to fuck talk to Emi's mom (she's hot).

Incidentally, I found Emi to be very un-cunt-like in that ending, cuz she finally gives in when Hisao says I love you.
In Emi's bad ending she was very cuntish tho

Fuck talk, eh? I didn't even get saved by the Misha scene that lets you double back to the good end.

Not to try to stir up trouble, but I'm going to assume our new member is female, and some women find that particular work offensive, just like a black person would be bothered if someone posted the 'N' word here. and I don't blame them. It wouldn't hurt to be civil once in awhile Xan. This is supposed to be a friendly board.

There were no black characters in the game tho :( (except for that one girl without a hand). We can pretend that Emi is black if that affects anything.

That's all well and good. I could have respected that. But that isn't what's there. What's actually there is some newbie demanding I not say certain things, ever, for no given reason. Unexplained arrogant demands are neither civil nor friendly, and I believe people should be dealt only what they earn. "That word offends me. Please refrain from using it." is not a difficult statement but she chose to be a demanding nuisance instead. And as to the offensiveness of it: Words are not offensive. "The N Word" is not offensive. Racism is offensive. The idea attached to it. I'd just as soon substitute any other disparaging term in my previous posts and the idea, that these people were kinda shitty, would remain the same. I chose "cunt" quite simply because it's short and rolls easy off the tongue and keyboard. That's it. And just because she attaches some inherent sexism to that particular word, that doesn't magically make me a sexist. That just makes her annoying for projecting so damn hard onto those around her. Now, I'm done with this discussion. This will be a HAPPY THREAD.

@Jobriq: Is Miki black? I didn't notice... O.o;; I mean, her skin's kinda dark but...

Miki is kinda dark-skinned, but I don't think she's African-American "black".
