So the situation is that you are stranded on a deserted island between Japan and Hawaii (a plane crash on the way to a conference for disabled students). There might be a rescue, but there is no guarantee of when (or if ever). The island appears to have enough resources to keep you and one other person alive indefinitely (food, shelter, wood for a signal fire, etc). But there is no advanced technology (radio, generator, cell phone, etc).

Who in the KS world would you pick to be your companion? Do you base it on who will help the best with a possible rescue and survival, or do you base it on the assumption that there will be no rescue at all and you need someone compatible for possible a long term relationship. Or do you pick someone in between -- someone who can help with a rescue but with whom you could also spend a lot of time together?

Or do you just pick your favorite girl and hope that you are never rescued?

I am curious who gets picked, and why.

The Nurse seems like a bro and he has medical knowledge that hopefully won't be needed, but ya never know.

To be honest, I would pick Lilly. She seems ever so headstrong, I cant imagine her failing to provide some assistance.

If i brought that bacon girl i could eat her if i ever get hungry.

although Rin is my favorite character, i picked Akira because she would seem to be the best candidate of keeping her cool, while probably being fun to hang around to boot.

edit: also because Akira works in a business firm chances are she knows English.

I can totally see Hanako becoming a megalomaniac bitch with no person around making her feel bad. Then she makes you her slave.

Shizune. Wouldn't be much conversation but I can't speak Japanese anyway. I just feel that with her I'd probably have the best chance of survival.

That's what I freaking meant. I was just saying even if I knew sign language or wrote to her in the sand or whatever it still probably wouldn't help much because there's still the language barrier of Japanese and English. But we could hopefully work out ways to communicate to each other what we're trying to do. To like, you know, live.

I'm going to assume that we can both speak somehow. Either they learn English or I learn Japanese. Or perhaps we both learn German, IDK.

Anyway, I'd go with Emi. Her upbeat attitude will help as will her athleticism. Also, she's awesome, 'nuff said.
