Katawa Shoujo Forums

Who else besides me is waiting, after the JPN translation, for there to be a Katawa Shoujo anime in the style of Yosuga No Sora?

Just saying, by doing the story in arcs like that, and not really "showing" anything just like YnS, Katawa Shoujo could very well be an awesome anime. It would be a great way for all the people who made the VN to actually be paid for something they have done for free for the world.

So we meet again, Katawa Shoujo anime topic.

Long story short, a KS anime wont be happening.

A KS anime is about as likely as a Homestuck anime. AKA it's not going to happen.

If the people who made Katawa Shoujo wanted to be paid, they would have been. They knowingly and willingly offer it for free.

It's gonna be amazing guys don't worry.

Kinda goes back to that thread about voice acting. I don't know if I'd want an anime because of the voices I've already formulated for the characters.

I know for a fact I wouldn't want one for that exact reason. Besides, KS works better as a VN, what with the choices and investment and whatnot. An anime would just be a downgrade.

There have been other VNs that turned into very good anime.
Though it's mostly an exception to the rule I guess

Wait so is schoolday's actually any good at all or is it just the VN that was bad?

School Days was easy, since the VN was like an anime from the start.

School Days was crap to begin with. You can't make something good out of crappy source material.
But for example, most Key VNs have had great anime adaptations. (Little Busters! seems like it'll be the exception, though.)

Anyway, on topic, no, won't happen. So no one is really waiting for it.

C'mon Dingo Egret, that's shit i'd expect from a 14 year old. A Katawa Shoujo anime is a horrible idea not only because the multiple arcs aren't compatible with one another (And they can't pull the Morrowind stunt of saying all endings are canon). It worked as a visual novel, so leave it as one.
