Okay... This question is actually one I'm supprised I haven't seen (emphasis on seen) mentioned before and it is why we are still here... This question actually stemmed from me asking myself why I still return to these forums regularly... It's strange and I honestly don't know why I still come here so Mabey listening to others will help me figure it out...

Because I'm a fan of the game.

I ask myself why I'm still on a Zelda fansite for almost ten years, then I remember, I'm a fan of the LOZ series.

I come because in my relatively short time here I've become quite attached to the community. It's like an oasis of like-minded people. You'd better pray KS never breaks through to the mainstream. I could never cope with the likes of Facepunch on here.

This, AND I've gotten to look inside the heads of very UNlike-minded people who share the same interest in a pretty cool set of subjects. Occasionally I'll but heads, lock horns, or what have you, but we're all pretty civil, and hey, that's awesome.

I'm still here because I'm addicted. There's no other way to say it really.

Eh, I've still not got the fanfiction bug. I mostly steer clear of Fan Works, dipping in occasionally to see if anything catches my eye. Trying to avoid it or the novel I'm attempting to write will probably never even manage one more chapter

And yes, the ability to hold a constructive debate is pretty amazing! That Asperger's thing could have turned into quite a fiasco elsewhere...

Oh, dude, I TOTALLY forgot about that, and I think the last time I'd looked at it, I was halfway into a sixer of Shipyard. Was I a terrible, terrible person?

Aanyway, derailment over, folks! It's safe to carry on!

Well, some of us are late arrivals. Many people only recently heard of the game, others only recently gave it a shot.

That aside, this, like pretty much any other sort of forum, is a community. People come to share ideas, exchange thoughts, and enjoy a meeting of the minds. We return because people make it worth returning.

Also, KS has a way of sticking in your head, and infecting much of your daily thought. You want to keep it with you, to share it with others, to share the experience. And perhaps, due to the content, we're most comfortable sticking to a safe zone where we know we won't be judged fro playing cripple porn.

There are likely as many reasons as there are people. That's just how life works. What matters is that you've thoroughly questioned yourself and you're satisfied with your reason for sticking around.
