Rin's body language

You know how some people move their hands when they talk ?
It's not that uncommon for people born without arms to do the same thing with their feet.
I remember seeing an armless woman on tv years ago, giving an interview. She moved her feet all the time while she talked, and if memory serves me correctly, she even facepalmed (What would the correct term be in this case?) a couple of times.

Do you think Rin does this too ?
The game never mentions anything, but what do you think ?

I can imagine she does as any normal person would, although It would be interesting to observe her body language considering self expression and body language are directly related to each other, she has a hard time expressing herself.

In Act 1 Rin uses her head to point, when Hisao and Lilly find her walking in town. I can't recall any other specific instances of her pointing ingame though, except purely verbally.

Thinking about Rin, I would expect her to not be that expressive in body language. I imagine her as being more the kind of "It appears that other people do things like pointing when referring to something within sight, so I should probably do that as well" rather than using body language naturally.

But yes, I agree that 'normal' people without arms could well use their feet for body language instead.

Rin's not Italian so she's not missing out on that much by not being able to exaggerate her speech with hand gestures.

I don't think RIn uses much body language. Not only does Hisao never make any mention of it, but we get the occasional hint that Rin tends to hold herself stiff, either using her feet to achieve something practical or not at all.

The best quote I can think of is when Rin is in town, and is described as a statue, or a zombie, or a statue of a zombie.

I guess you're right guys, Rin probably never does this.
But if a KS anime is ever made... I would love to see her doing it! It would add +5 cuteness to her :D

VERY relevant.

She shrugs a lot. Especially after the mediocre sex with Hisao at the end.

Doesn't she tilt her head during the animation at the beginning of her path?

Actually if you watch that clip, it's only the mirrored image of Rin that tilts her head. The 'real' Rin doesn't move at all.

Interesting, I wonder what hidden meaning that holds.

Obviously that Rin doesn't know/recognizes her true self yet.

I'm not sure anything's obvious with Rin, but that makes sense.
