Well, we've talked to death why we love our favorites and hate everyone else's. I'm ready for some positive thinking.

Keep the explanations of your dislike brief, maybe a quip. Just say a few things that are good or admirable or cute or whatever about them.

I don't like Hanako all that much. I just don't romanticize tragic girls at all, personal experience thing.

BUT

Her drunk face after her birthday party is adorable. So is the picture of her with hot chocolate in the Winter artbook.

She's likely the most well-read character in the game. Even if a fraction of the amount she reads is non-fiction, we have a girl who is going to be tremendously open to new ideas. More so than any other character, probably. Once she gets out of her shell, she could excel in academia or any other arena of ideas she chooses. That's a good thing, I think. Readin's good stuff.

Rin's passion for art. I can completely understand that, and I can see now why she did what she did. She's my least favorite because, while interesting and complex, she just didn't do it for me.

Shizune has probably some of the cutest poses in the game (next to Hanako).


The fact that she lived with Hideaki and Jigoro and has yet to ever actually murder anyone should mean she's eligible for sainthood.

To her advantage, she never had to listen to Jigoro's ranting. Maybe it's a good thing he never bothered to learn sign language.

Bad end Hanako is freaking badass. I was actually disappointed that the game ended right there because I probably would have enjoyed being around that Hanako more than I did being around the one you get the rest of the game. I loved the way she utterly destroys Hisao and Lily for treating her like a child to be taken care of as opposed to an friend who's an equal. Definitely my favorite moment in the entire game.

Shizune is a meganekko and has an awesome lesbianfriend.

Misha exists.

Shizune. Even though she didnt really do it for me, I do have to admire her drive and confidence.
