It is a good thing that options that have been selected before have some sort of tick by them... but the fact that they switch places is really REALLY bothering me.
When I play Eroge games, I tend to systematically save at every option... then select the top option on my first playthrough... After reaching completion, I'll go back to the last savegame and select the other option, exhaust those options, then make my way backwards from the end, one by one going through each possible combination of options in strict order until I'm 100% certain I've completed every possible means of playing through the game.

But the options keep changing places. There is no consistent "top option". What might have been first of three last time might be third of three next time.
IT IS THROWING ME OFF!

WHY DO THEY SWITCH PLACES?!

I'll have to make a spreadsheet to keep track of which full chains I've completed, probably. Depends whether the tickboxes are sensitive to all past choices or just that particular question independent of other actions though. So troublesome. So troublesome.

Yea that threw me off too, mainly playing through act 1 several times for different routes

I didn't even realize that after playing through three times... And can KS be really considered eroge? A couple of sex scenes doesn't make a game eroge, does it?

well it has H-scenes in it so it can be.
But i don't think it is. the comment by the creator of this video sums it up perfectly:

"This VN has about as much adult content as an R-rated movie. It's a bit more explicit in content but it has about the same amount percentage-wise. Adult content can also be disabled in the options. Either way it's technically intended for 18+; take that how you will."

a couple of sex scenes in a movie dont make it porn so... id say it isnt.

I don't even pay that much attention to the story, NOR the H-scenes. I just want to know I've done everything. That is all.
Getting 100% on visual novels is a thing I do. Well, and with other games too.
Gotta complete everything. Yup. Access and open and unlock and bring everything out in the open where it can be arranged neatly into a grid.


Reminds me, sometimes I think the image galleries in these games are rather poorly arranged. I could put them in far better orders.

Well, also to deconstruct the hell out of it, find every single error or incongruity in it, etc. That sort of stuff is fun.

Then you don't really enjoy it for what it is do you?

It is something to be organised, something that CAN be organised, and CAN be completed.
It is a distraction.
It is also a rather telling imprint of those who made it.
