Admittedly, the real life Emi is a man but this is super inspiring nonetheless.
A bunch of people who have lost their limbs in vehicle accidents, but now are olympic atheletes in the cycling discipline:
They call themselves "The Pirates"

Cool looks like many people take on sports after such an accident or refuse to lay down sporting (such as Oscar Pistorius or Beatrice Vio: http://ks.renai.us/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6191)

After reading these stories, i decided not to complain at the end of my 5k run because i feel slightly tired, imagining what these people have gone through.
