Well Hanako had friends before she burnt down her house, so I'm guessing she had some social skills. I think she would ultimately turn out like a very toned down Akira.

They do say, your true personality come out when you involve alcohol. Seeing Hanako's more laid back and silly when she's drunk, perhaps she's that, laidback and silly.
