Oh, and before anyone asks, it is FUCKING OFFICIAL!!!! Well, as official as something like this is going to get anyways.

I already put in my $20, more because I felt compelled to pay money to the creators of the game than out of an uncontrollable desire to own a physical copy of Katawa Shoujo artwork. The book will be a nice bonus, though.

While this might be rare, I don't think this could be a collector's item that would be worth money 20 years later. Then again, never say never.

By the way, there has been an update saying they plan to offer more $30 option (signed) books, as well as look into making the books hardcover.

You're just overanalyzing. By chance, they mean that people who don't go to Anime Expo will be able to obtain a copy by donating $20.

(A far cheaper option than actually GOING to AX to buy a copy)

I was actually going to pledge today after putting money in the bank, then saw they're gonna try to re-open the $30 tier, So I'll wait and stalk the page every few hours.

I'm definitely going to get this. Does anyone have any more details as to what exactly this will contain? By artwork, do they mean the original sprites/drawings, or is it more along the lines of fan art?

Hmm, looks awesome but I have no idea how we europeans will ever get a chance to own such an artbook. i'll certainly look on ebay after anime expo ^^

Ah, hell. I'm willing to lay down 30 for this, easy. Minimum wage be damned.

Had to settle for the 20... all hell will break loose if they open more 30 slots.

I wish something like this could be available overseas too.
