I didn't realize you had extended this longer than the one you posted in /vg/. Glad I got a chance to read the whole thing.

I'm sorry I doubted your ability to write something "bittersweet." It is indeed that. The ending is gorgeous.

As if Misha weren't tragic enough already.

Oh, no, the tags refer to what might possibly happen after a hypothetical good ending in a Misha path, it's not the end of another story or anything.

But, thank you all for your comments. This was really my first attempt at turning the depressing into the bittersweet, because I figure I need to expand my horizons a little. Perhaps my next story will be downright heartwarming. I mainly write based on how I feel, and right now I'm in a pretty damned good mood. Only time will tell, I suppose. Stay gold, KS forums.

That was a great story. It doesn't really help that I pictured her as Ellie from Up! Which I was just watching.

Oh god... I just had an image of Hisao filling up thousands of balloons and flying their house to south America.
