One final run, before uninstalling.
I am a sucker for narratives. I love narratives because they are narratives, and strive to absorb as many as possible. This particular narrative struck me deeply, but it's time to move on. I'm still trying to spread it wider though, think of it as carrying on the legacy. Anyway, I've completed all the routes and endings, and it's time for me to uninstall the game soon. But, I want to play with Hanako one last time, from start to finish, no skips. I think that final time will be the time that teardrops bust the fuck out of my eyes for real. I'll know when it'll end, I'll know how it'll end, I'll go through with it anyway. It's the only way to say "Farewell, Hanako". Is anyone else going through this feeling? Did you uninstall yet? How did you or will you say bye and move on? Share your feelings with me you people, I thrive on them.
Re: One final run, before uninstalling.
Why the hell would I want to uninstall it? :S
I'm aiming to play it through until the end (saving Rin's path for a rainy day ^_^). I then intend to play Emi's and Lilly's paths through again, at the very least (but I'm most likely going to play through them all again, and Emi/Lilly's paths a third time).
After that, I intend to keep it installed on my computer, for if I ever want to come back to it again. Because I'm almost certain I shall. It's like books, if I find a book I absolutely adore, I will buy it to keep on my bookshelf. Every now and then I'll pick it back up and read a few chapters, or read it through again. Maybe someday I'll realise that I haven't read it for a couple years or more, and it's time for it to find a charity shop to make room for new books, but that day will be a long way off coming for KS.

Yeah even when i finish all routes (saving Rin's neutral and bad endings for another day) then i'm keeping it installed on my computer. Every once in awhile it would be nice to go back and re-enjoy the story all over again like one would with a normal book. I see no reason to get rid of the game unless it's too much of a temptation to constantly play it or it reminds you too much of the feels you got on your first time through.

I saw the thread title & I went,"UNINSTALLING?! WHAT IS THIS. I DON'T EVEN."

Are you uninstalling because you're concerned about someone else finding it?

Hell, I've tried to replay some routes to get 100% completion. I think I've moved on too early, because I simply cannot get interested in the stories again.
Hopefully the interest will be restored again in the future. I'm sure it will. I was able to replay the Ace Attorney games after several months, so this should be the same. Maybe.

My shoes aren't actually brown. Well, one pair is, but I mostly wear grey ones.

Like the others are saying, Why would you want to uninstall it? Unless you need to make room on your computer. I would diffenitly(sp) play the routes again quite a few times.

Huh, I usually uninstall soon after finishing even a good VN, yet I can't bear to uninstall this. I know it's not the best VN ever, but I just ... can't. .......
Re: One final run, before uninstalling.
This my friend, is a good thing. You have experienced a level of connection with KS that your previous VN never did and this connection prevents you from uninstalling KS. The only way you could have uninstalled KS at all would have been before you even read it.encrypted12345 wrote:Huh, I usually uninstall soon after finishing even a good VN, yet I can't bear to uninstall this. Lengths people will go just to save 420MB.
I uninstalled Sharin no Kuni and G-Senjou no Maou only because I really couldn't make myself continue playing anymore and the fact that they take up gigabytes of space. I can honestly say that up til now I've tried quite a few big VN titles but none of them could even last me one playthrough. None except KS. Other VNs are always about some shady, mysterious secret that you are trying to uncover, feels more like an RPG.

Re: One final run, before uninstalling.
i probably wont uninstall KS after i am completely done. It doesnt take that much space at all. Though i lost all my progress since i had to reset my computer to factory, i went from 95 percent to 0 percent, but oh well.
Re: One final run, before uninstalling.
Mmh, nope, i'm not gonna uninstall this, EVER. only way it gets out from my HD is if i have to reformat, and after that i'll download it again anyway.
I think uninstalling this would give me somesort of "feels", in a bad sense.
