i don´t only think in Rin; Kenji too. Both talk "in backwards":
Meanwhile Rin say all the things who in her fantastic imagination can form, all exprecions of her escence,Kenji talks about all the "horrible" thinks who he confronts all days, magnimised for his paranoia.
Rin want shows all this ideas to the world in form of art, (the only form who she can found efective) but she can´t express totally all her fellings, and nobody can really understand her then. (and this happens with all the world, Rin!)
Kenji no wants show his true ideas and fellings for fear.He is occult himself back to a mask of a wise guy who knows about conspirations but in really he don´t know...even if he have the same (and even more)creation power than Rin... He is a victim of his own imagination, and use it for no show his true self. (and personally i think who he is a good guy.) the worst part ,is who seems who some of that things who his "shaman eyes" had seen were true.
And Hisao was able to free them.

and oh, really can remember that part, too. I think who is simbolic...
