2: Something relevant
3: Something else relevant
4: Wait, why am I a girl?

Act 2: Sparks of Hope
Act 3: Fluttering Heart
Act 4: Madness

mostly because I'm really sensitive emotionally
but it makes me more vulnerable to pain and happiness

The way I keep myself from others is being cold but at the same time hurt myself even further.

The final act is when the bad or good ending will follow
Failing to progress past Act 2 and Act 3 towards a good ending will cause a neutral ending.

Manly Picnic for only 27.5? Worth it. I'd be scared of trying to go to White Castle with Kenji, though. After the month long trip, if the person taking orders were female, I think we would get kicked out before our orders were placed.

Ah, heck, why not?

Act 2: Beta Testing
Act 3: Flipping the Table
Act 4: Release

Edit: Oh, hey, maybe I should explain. Well, I'm an aspiring video game designer (director/producer is my goal, for the curious), and "Flipping the Table" is, among other meanings, the term for when Shigeru Miyamoto scraps a project to start over because it doesn't live up to his standards. "Release" serves up a fairly obvious multiple meaning. I figure my story would mostly be about getting me to let my guard down. I tend to put up a front of being really cheerful all the time when I'm around people I'm not close to, and I act a bit spacy, too. I don't really show my actual emotions to anyone, except sometimes on the internet when I know people can't connect it to me. As a character, I guess I'd be a lot like Emi, except nerdy instead of active. Also, like, I'm not a girl, but I think that's obvious.

Hmm...

Act II: In Plain Sight.
Act III: Melancholy Tower.
Act IV: Pushing Limits.

The first name would be because I'm very timid in real life. I'm kinda like that girl with the cell phone in Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei without the abuse and huge stock of phones. It's hard to get me to talk without writing or typing things down.

The second name would be because the act would be melancholy. The 'Tower' part of it is because whenever I see or hear the word melancholy I think of a beautiful steel tower with stained glass windows. I'm still unsure why. Could be from an anime?

The third name would be because I have trouble staying friends with someone for too long. It's nothing about them, but I just can't stand being around people too long. So far I've found two exceptions to this, but that could hardly be called many.

Ooh, this is fun. Could get all introspective and serious about this, or boil this down to the two main drives: drinking and design.

Act 2: Challenge Accepted (In Vino, Veritas)
Act 3: Technical Difficulties (???)
Act 4: Accidentally on Purpose (In Aqua, Sanitas)

Just pretend Kenji's talking about Creative Suite and Adobe instead of Feminists. There is no character development. There is no lesson learned. Hell, there isn't even a route. More like scene titles, really.

Interesting.

Act 2: Introversion
Act 3: Cracking the Shell
Act 4: Catharsis

I'm a quiet person. Ask anyone I know. But do you want to know why I'm so quiet? It's a self-imposed isolation that I first put on myself back in middle school, and it's never truly gone away. I was constantly and brutally bullied in middle school, just for being myself (which was very energetic and happy-go-lucky and outgoing). I was a late bloomer too, so my young impressionable mind was tricked into thinking that "myself" was a terrible thing that should be shut away right about when I was going through puberty, where your hormones are on the fritz and your mind and personality are very easily swayed by the opinions of others.. And so, I put up a shell around myself... I became quiet. I stopped talking to others unless they talked to me first. I became extremely passive.

The ultimate goal if I had a path would be to weaken that shell so that I'd become more able to open up to and approach others, and stop being so passive when it comes to human interactions. And when it's all said and done, and after some major emotional exchanges at the end of Act 3 and throughout Act 4, there would be a new quiet... not self-imposed and depressing, but happy, serene, and complacent... Catharsis, in other words.

Wow, I like yours, NubChaos. Very interesting!

The power of catharsis is incredibly powerful. It can make you feel all sorts of things. The ending of each story arc in KS gave off a lot of cathartic feelings, especially Lilly's end. Good GOD.
