If Katawa Shoujo used "real" music rather than an original soundtrack, what sort of songs do you think would be used?
What sort of music do you think the girls of KS listen to?
Should music play a larger role in emphasizing the story and emotions of a VN rather than just simple background music?

Is that not why the music changes with the mood of the scene, though?

Lily would like something smooth and jazz like or even classical.
Emi would listen to pump up songs.
Rin... well she would listen to anything probably.
Hanako would listen to anything calming.
Misha would listen to something bubbly... or maybe even down with the sickness.
Shizune would lis- oh right...

I'll go with ideas from earlier threads like this one:
On the topic of listening to those vibrations, in some people (such as yours truly), loud bass can cause breathing troubles. I don't exactly know why, but I recall reading something about the vibration causing the plates of the lungs to crack slightly open (don't know how true that is). But it is something that happens when I have labored breathing after going to a club, even if I don't dance.
So, if all she has is those vibrations, that must suck for her.
