Problems with Captcha logging in

I've got the following problem when trying to log in:
I am told this "You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below."
The problem posed is that I do not get a Captcha pic to get the text from, meaning I actually don't have a way of logging in (unless I create a new account, which I would not really want).
Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just a problem with the site?

This forum doesn't have captcha just to log in.

I'm having the same issues, both in Opera and Firefox. Interestingly enough, my login worked just fine when I read the OP earlier today.

It is currently working on my phone, however.

And here I am posting again from a different location. Forum doesn't like my usual IP?

OP here, sounds like an IP Problem to me, if kosher says that he can't log in with either browser on computer but doesn't have issues using his mobile. Though I may be wrong there, being not exactly a computer specialist.

Reset your IP then, it might solve the problem. If you're running windows, go to run and then type in cmd. Then type ipconfig/release in the DOS window. Reboot the computer, go to run, type in cmd and type in ipconfig/renew.

Just attempted the above steps, no luck.

I had this problem a couple days ago. All you have to do is to request a new password and activate it.

Thanks a lot, Palas, this solved my Problem. Now that I saw the solution I could have kinda hit myself, seems pretty obvious, after all.
Being the OP, I think this Topic is pretty much done, now.

Seems to be resolved for me as well, thanks. I'm guessing the invisible captcha request is an artifact leftover from the old days, before the character question.

Alright, my login got messed up again and had to be reset. From what it sounds like, it seems relatively common.
Also, I've noticed that the error page comes up even if the password is entered incorrectly.

I've got this problem too, and unfortunately requesting a new password isn't a solution because apparently the e-mail I used doesn't actually work anymore. Can something be done about the ReCAPTCHA?
