At the risk of seeing this thread locked... Would the devs feel comfortable/interested talking a little about the style that you have chosen for this visual novel's adult content? What I'd like to know is, how bold have you decided to be with it? Will our lovely ladies go trough some really depraved, hardcore "deepthroat, forced anal, cumshots, bukkake orgy, jizz jizz jizz" type of situations, a la something like the Bible Black-series for example, or will we get some nice, mellow, heartwarming softcore, where the lovebirds make love quietly in a pretty green meadow, as Hisao kisses the slightly nervous and quivering girl gently on the lips, while at the same time carefully taking her with his manhood, as the golden rays of sunset engulf them both? As in, how something like My Lovely Ghost Kana does it?

I'm not really expecting that in the final release.

But i can't say that i'm sure that all the paths are heartwarming and peaceful.

So tasteful as far as we're concerned or tasteful as far as Japan is concerned?

Because the two are very very different.

Over here "OHGODSEMENEVERYWHERE!" and "AHHH I'M GOING BLIND!" is not considered tasteful.

I know the devs don't like the outside influencing them but I have to admit if they had been aiming for something hardcore it probably would have turned sour after the people who claim KS to be nothing more then a play at a perverts fantasies. Believe me, I've seen and delt with that kind before on these sort of topics. I can see the devs easily being on the more tenderside other than complete distaste. Remember the Hanako's Chocolate comic? I have to admite I would act just like the guy in that comic if what I had come to enjoy as a VN with excellent art, story and heart turned into nothing more than something where the H-scenes are all that's important; and with a little bit of a sour taste.
For my personal opinion. I hope it is something like Princess Walts, Shuffle! or even a little playful like Snow Sakura. I would just hate to see a School Days psycho-murder at the end but take what your given I guess.
(I could so see Emi as acting like Saki in Snow Sakura. Did I mention I love that VN?)

I posted this in another thread before I noticed this one. I think it fits here better.

I sincerely hope that none of the paths will feature S&M or such stuff. The only one of the girls I can picture having had sex before is Misha, though I guess with everyone except Hanako there is a possibility. Hisao is definitively a virgin.
In every path of Tsukihime, Shiki, who is also supposed to be a virgin, goes at it like a professional pornstar form the getgo. If anyone remembers their first time like that, I'm certain there is something wrong with their memory. It killed my suspension of disbelief more than any of that vampire stuff or the eyes of death perception ^^°
Now I hope KS is going to focus on the romance aspect instead of the porn and everything I have read so far makes me have high hopes that nothing like that will be in the final game. Not to mention that doing it three times in a row would kill Hisao anyway.

Seriously though, I expect that there'll be a variety of different sex scenes in the full game. If there's going to be, say, ten in the game, say (two for each girl), if they all had the exact same character of "missionary position while clothed with the lights off under the duvet for purposes of procreation", it might start to feel a little samey and stop it being stimulating.

Thinking about it, I suppose the character most likely to have an aggressive sex scene would be Hanako. Despite weeks of careful handling, she's no closer to opening up - eventually Hisao gets frustrated with her impenetrable social anxiety, and in a heated moment of rashness decides to break through the wall in a more direct way, by shoving her down and ripping her shirt open. "I'll show you that your scars don't matter..."

OK, rape is one thing I want to see even less than S&M...

I just thought KS would be a VN where the line "Let's take it slowly, I don't want to die on you." could have a very literal double meaning... I don't expect to find it in the game, but you never know

The only rape that I believe we would see (I don't believe for a second there would be rape though) in this story is because Hisao going nuts because of depression. Other than that, well, outdoors maybe?
