As has GG Crono and coldacid, I think.

It's only a matter of time before someone adds in metatropes.

Is anybody really surprised that many of us are tropers? I mean... A romantic/sexual visual novel about crippled people, all with deep and complex personalities, hilarious dialogues and clever subversions of all the relevant cliches? I'd be surprised to discover most of the people here aren't somehow connected to TvTropes.

(By the way, that's where I heard of the game in the first place, if I remember correctly. I think. Maybe second.)

I know it's where I picked up that KS existed. Hell, I'm on it now.

I learned about KS through Encyclopedia Dramatica. Isn't it sad?

Nope. That's how I found out about it, under that "The Moar You Know" section on the home page. Something along the lines of "In Katawa Shoujo, you get to fuck the cripples." Or something.

I was just surfing pages. Weeaboo lead to Dating Sim lead to Katawa Shoujo.

And of course those lines immediately drew your attention.

I was on TVtropes like... two times in my entire life. I got to know KS from my younger brother. And HE got it from fakku...

I got it from the comic, when I actually found it, I was sad I didn't get my chocolate. ;_;

If my memory serves me right, which most of the time does not, I found about KS a night, I was bored so I started browsing Hentai pages and others related, and boom, Katawa Shoujo appeared.

I admit it with no shame .

I discovered KS in /v/. Looking back, I'm amazed at how a visual novel actually managed to become the Flavor of the Month for... well, a month.

As a side note, I learned about visual novels in general in /v/ as well.

Guilty. Granted, I haven't done much on the KS article, mainly owing to the fact that I haven't seen every ending yet.

I did clarify some notes on community memes, but that's something of a dubious achievement if ever there was one.

Hey, is there a "how did you find out about KS" thread? I spent a whole 30 seconds searching but "how did you" are too common for the search engine to look up.
