Since there has been a streak of Chinese spam on this blog that I have grown very tired of deleting, I'm turning comments on the blog off. From now on, please refer to the forum. I hope all blog posters will start a thread in the new appropriate subforum.

Are there addons that you could install for spam prevention in the blog? I believe that there are some where you can block people from posting based on their ip address. I am betting that the spam is pretty much all coming from the same ip address.

james: It is Blogger, which is pretty bare bones, so probably not.

Right now, none of the old comments can be read. Since you are a blogspot blog, I think you have comments hidden. If you change it to show comments and restrict comments to "only members of this blog," that should still disable comments for the rest of the world, while allowing old comments to be read.

I thought the point of a blog was reading the blog and not its comments, specially when they mostly contribute nothing. But that might be just me.
