A friend of mine brought the KSOC contest on DeviantArt to my attention.

I 'd like to participate.
The downside? I don't have a DeviantArt.

Is there are way I can participate without having to join? (Perhaps I can post the image here?)

I used to have an account years ago, but I've forgotten the password. I dislike that site in general and would rather not have to create a new account.

Creating an account doesn't take too long, iirc. It's mostly a fun side-activity for the Group there, unrelated to the forums or other KS gathering grounds... so I think being a member of the group counts as a prerequisite for entering the contest.

This is so cool how popular this is getting. I can practically see the anime now....ok maybe not.
Now is when I wish I could draw to a higher degree. But seriously, I would just either make a new account or submit it here, it will evenetually be known otherwise that someone else with an account can post it for you.

I am so tempted to join. Too bad I forgot how to draw.

This contest is rather exciting! I've been drawing sketches this past few days. Hopefully I can have something finished and ready to submit on the weekend!

I'll try my hand at drawfagging for a bit, but I'll write 'er up if that fails.

I have a good idea yet no real motivation to join DeviantArt. So I honestly hope I can at least provide some degree of motivation to someone with some artistic talent.

Personality: Rigid, strict, prude, stoic, loud, militant, tomboyish, goal oriented, will help when asked. so kuudere...
Backstory: Daughter of two Americans stationed in Japan. More of a "foreigner" than Lilly is.
Disability: Aplastic anemia (prone to fainting, drugs she takes can lead to mood swings)
School life: History buff, Capitan of rifle team, helps others in English class.
Appearance: Her hairstyle would either be an updo or short hair, Hair color could range from sandy blonde to brown, body type would be that pseudo-loli figure (stunted growth), skin color would be tan-pale (suntan + anemia)
Relationship with other students: Would get along well with Shizune, Lilly, "motivated" Hiaso, and maybe Emi. Wouldn't get along with Hanako, Rin, "indifferent" Hiaso, or Kenji.

I'm sure someone can tweak this and make a really great story and character out of it.

A contest... Well, my brother does the drawing, I'm the writing fag... Maybe we'll team up

I might enter this, but mine would be sadly devoid of pretty pictures unless a friend of mine is willing to help.
