I always figured there would just be the typical thing where Hisao gets closer to Shizune when he learns sign language, then Misha gets upset because Shizune doesn't hang out with her as much. And then eventually it gets resolved, perhaps with her getting paired up with a boy of her own.

...Of course, the only other boy her age we've seen at this school is Kenji, and... well.

That makes me wonder about Kenji's future, though. Will he have any relevance in anything after Act 1? Will he get any character development? Or will he just provide more comic relief? Or maybe he'll drop out entirely?

I don't think he would drop of completely but might be a big plot device on some of the paths. I particuarly like the idea that it was Misha who was the girl Kenji refers to that he had sex with. That could be relevent in the multiverse of Misha being the feminist leader. You've already fallen off a roof why not have a feminist invasion.

i've only just downloaded and played act one, and i'm posting this without reading anyone else's speculations.

In regards to Misha's disability, does anyone else think it might just be ADHD? no seriously i got 5 minutes or so in and i just looked at her and thought, "...ADHD." now not saying she probably wont have something else more prompting to the story along with it. but i'm pretty convinced that she has ADHD in some form or another. i mean doesnt she just have that look in her eyes that says, "wait what were we talking about just now?"

evidence:
- she stumbles with big words sometimes and quickly gives up trying to pronounce them
- She is loud and disruptive, a back and fourth between Mutou and Misha after class suggests it is a common occurrence
- she enjoys elementary school games as proven by the games she tries to use to swindle Hisao into the student council
- plays lots of games in general, as proven by the fact that there's a Risk set in the student council office.

ADHD is one of the leading theories, according to the "Misha's Disability" thread.

I haven't read any of the posts dealing with ADHD, but can ADHD even be serious enough so that she would better function at a school like Yamaku?

I suppose it's possible, but the fact that Yamaku's a school for physical rather than psychological disabilities would make it kind of a moot point, no?

I think the Devs have said that the school would accept students with no physical problems as long as the parents would pony up the tuition. Trying to tack a label on Misha just from the few facts given in Act 1 is rather superfluous on our part. (But damn it is fun; isn't it?) It could be her worst physical problem is flat feet or chronic post nasal drip and is otherwise perfectly healthy.

I remember loling at a chatlog that had crud or someone saying that Misha's disability was that she once broke a nail in fifth grade and was sent to Yamaku by her overprotective parents.

So that's the hint! She displays her disability for all to see, with her finger high! Personal canon, set!

Holy crap!
So modern medical specialists call this symptoms of a disability now? Wow.
Well, psychologists invent new sickness every day making everyone sick. Literally everyone. You, who are reading this, probably have at least 5 of "modern" psychological stuff.

Misha is healthy. Being weird means nothing.

Sigh~ there is a thread specifically about this ya know. I shall reiterate what I said there: Yes Misha has symptoms of ADHD, BUT she does not have them severely enough to constitute it being an illness. There are plenty of people with such behavioral patterns, its only when they are incredibly sever that they are treated as an illness. Also, Risk is Shizune's favorite game. There was never any mention that it was Misha's.

is anybody else hoping for a secret enging for misha? it could be like after getting close to shizune, you should be able to choose between them. i would actually prefer misha to shizune.

One problem, it ain't going to happen. Unless the devs have been lying to us the whole time. *hint, hint*
