I recall yet another Visual Novel with a crippled hero.
It's free and doesn't take a lot of space but it's well made, interesting and pretty fun.

ALTHOUGH I wasn't sure I can make such a thread. But searching through the FAQ I haven't found a slightest thing about not being allowed to do so. delete me if I did wrong. have fun with this VN if I didn't do anything bad.

Brass Restoration showed up in a thread about other VNs a while back, but I don't think that one was specifically about VNs with the disabled. And as long as it's actually freeware, I don't think linking to a download is against the rules.

I guess that technically, Saya no Uta has a main character with a mental disability.

Offhand, there's Midori from Hoshiuta and Ikuno (fuck yeah Ikuno) from To Heart 2 and To Heart 2 Another Days.

Nice of you to check the FAQ. At the same time, though, it's kind of sad that it's necessary at all.
Also, not a VN, but the female lead in Hanbun no Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora has some sort of congenital heart defect (dystrophy? can't remember anymore). Incidentally, it's an excellent show, not dissimilar to KS in some regards. Might have to make a thread now.

Would a brain-destroying/controlling parasite infection count as a disability? Cause the entire town of Hinamizawa's got a big problem, then. I mean, I guess that those in stage 5 of Hinamizawa Syndrome count as diasbled...

Don't worry about it, the show wasn't that good, anyways. If anything, you're saving people who haven't seen it a few hours of their life.

I hear there's a blind girl in ONE. I never got that far because it's terrible.
