So I got Folding @ Home set up on all of my devices, but for my laptop its just stuck at 0%. Is this because I did something wrong or is my computer just unbelievably shitty?

Depends on how long it's been working...
What does the log file say?

I'm going to be buying a new gaming machine soon, complete with a Core i7 3770K and an HD 7970 or GTX 680 (haven't decided yet), at which point I may join in on the folding! (Once the F@H client is updated to actually work with those graphics cards, that is)

One more question, will my PS3 stats merge with the PC ones?

As long as you use the same details, they should do. I leave my PS3 on sometimes and it seems to count

Just purchased a Sapphire HD 7970 OC Edition for $432, and Ivy Bridge will be released at the end of the week. I'm eager to participate soon!

Well, my poor laptop has been chugging away at a sad-sack pace, but it looks like I'm making some progress. I'd love to build a full-blown desktop sometime, but I don't see that happening just yet.

I've completed my new computer, and now have my HD 7970 and i7 3770K (overclocked at stock voltage to 4.3Ghz) folding. I have since learned that AMD cards are not nearly as effective at folding as nVidia cards, and that my new 7970 will earn less than half the PPD as my old GTX 460 would have. It also is kind of buggy in that it will turn itself off if I leave my computer idle, causing the F@H client executable running the GPU to crash. Oh well. The CPU is running strong, so I'm happy.

I was trying to use FahMon to get more accurate benchmark numbers, but it requires me to locate my FAHlog.txt file... and I can't! I've looked in AppData/Roaming/FAHClient (which is where I have been led to believe it should be), as well as many other less likely places, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm running Windows 7 Pro with version 7.1.52 of the F@H client. Can anyone help?

I'm not certain V7 of the client works with FAHmon, the client itself should give you reasonably accurate data though

I'm in the FAH team as Episcia! Not really folding that much, but I'm glad I'm contributing.

Yep, I got this last night. Sounds great, though the additional power usage each day won't go down too well :P

500 a days alright, what are you running, the single core client? If you have a dual/quad core you could give the SMP client a go. It'd burn through them at a better pace. Best using the V7 beta client for that:
