Haha live performances  I wish I could play anything.
I use FL Studio.

Painful History, finally.
It doesn't sound as good as I wanted, but piano is not my thing.

Although this is my favorite track, you made it sound less dramatic n' sad.
But who am I to tell you that, I can't do shit on FL.

Yeah well, there's no point for me in copying things note for note, so things come out as they do. :P

I kinda was expecting a dramatic ensemble in the background, or like those dramatic sounds in the background of crime drama intros.

There were 3 songs from KS that were my top favorite.
They were:
Parity, because it sounds cool and funny, the rythym is pretty catchy.
Painful History, there are so many reasons why I love this song. This song only appears once in the whole game, it's very emotional and touching, and it's Hanako's theme. (your remix made it sound less sad and touchy though, sorry)
Moment of Decison, it's strong and passionate. I liked it.

Today is the right day for a Nocturne rearrange. :P

Very pro covers. I think Parity and Nocturne came out the best. Their similarities with the originals are clearest. Can't imagine how many hours you put into a redesign, but these are very enjoyable.

If you wind up doing every track at this rate I'll be impressed.

Well, I guess there's plenty of time to do so.
I don't like every track so I don't really think I'll rearrange them all, but there are still many which I would want to, like Afternoon, Lullaby of Open Eyes et al.

Wow, Nocturne is a good one.
I listened to it while I was on the train, made me feel chilled.
It doesn't sound happy'ish like the original, but more of a despair after an average day at work.

Well, this one was moderately easy to make: Generic Happy Music.
I am gener(ic)ally happy with the result as well.

No comments on this one? ;_;
Damn, I knew I should have made Afternoon instead. ^_^ Which is what I'm currently making anyway...

Commenting.

On the whole this feels like a beefed up cover of the original. Where as the game's version is a soft side-note to any scene it compliments, this one butts you in the head. The bass is pretty heavy (my subwoofer is only at 20% of my volume), and the tempo feels a bit faster. These aren't really criticisms. I figured a cover is going to change the original in some ways. The positive with this approach is I'm not going to fall asleep listening to this.

Great work on mixing the harmony with the melody. They don't fight or overpower one-another and come out cleanly.

Yah Afternoon! Will look forward to that.

Thanks. Sometimes I use a bass boost filter for it to stand out more, but I never remember about people with subwoofers ^_^' (I am always on my computer with headphones on).

Afternoon is actually coming out pretty fast. It sounds more atmospheric than the original, and I guess (hope?) my choice for the main melody instrument is gonna get some (positive) reactions, because it's something you'd probably never hear in KS.
