Just a quick cover of an in-game music

Hello everyone.

Just as any of you I'm looking forward to see the full KS released, which is probably not soon, so in the meantime I thought I'd cover some of my fave tracks from the game and post them here.
Be warned, people say any cover I do sounds so different from the original theme it's almost a new one, but I hope you can all enjoy anything I end submitting here.

Without any further ado: Daylight. Supposed to be played on an infinite loop like any KS song.

Cheers.

I feel like I'm listening to a mostly optimistic theme song from a high school dramedy. Also, I like it better than the original "life gradually grinding Hisao down" dirge Nicol wrote, but I'd probably feel a lot differently about the character's mood swings if they were accompanied by this cover instead (which obviously wasn't your intention).

Nice job, Juno

Another track went into my own music blender and this is the result: Aria de l'Étoile
Intended to be listened on an endless loop.

And finally: Parity (Rin's Theme)

I'll stop posting these now; people cares little about it after all.
See you around guys.

PS. Mods, you can close this thread if you might.

I just saw this topic, I really enjoyed these mixes. I even popped some of them onto my MP3 player (like the originals).

I don't think your covers are too far from the originals. You can still tell what song it is, and the purpose of it is to sound like the same song with a different spin on it so I think you worked very well in accomplishing that.

Daylight really reminds me of MapleStory. Your cover does so even more.

OK OK, I see this raised more interest than I thought. ^_^'
I'm currently trying to cover Hanako's theme, but it's being a biiiiiitch to redo since it has a lot of two handed piano harmonies and I've never been that good at it, much less when I have to guess them out of a sound file.
I hope I'll get to finish it through this week.

Just curious, what are you covering them in? I was expecting live performances, but this sounds like you did it on a DAW or Garageband or some sort.
