For me yes, It also made me addicted to VNs.

Was my first, I greatly enjoy the story of KS. I know theres another thread somewhere here in the forums listing some other VN's that are worth checking out, don't recall any of the them atm.

Mine was A Drug That Makes You Dream, around the time I found out about this project a couple years ago.
Then I went on over to Jast USA and found a bunch more, and that got me into the VN business. While KS is probably going to be one of my favorites, my all time favorite so far has to be Saya no Uta.

Yes. I also haven't been able to find any other good free ones, and I'll be buggered before I pay for one sight-unseen.

yeah but that's mean. If you don't count the Ace Attorney series, yes. If you do, no.

Not even close. Even discounting downloaded games, I have a halfway decent stock of non-adult VNs published by Hirameki (RIP) that I bought and went through. Mind you, I wish I could go through them at my speed, not wait while they just play (that sucked when I had to do it), but I liked the company all the same. I got Piece of Wonder from them, after all... and that was an actual game with a far better format. XD
