And you don't have to forcefully ignore everyone to get on Rin's path. As long as you don't choose Shizune or Lilly/Hanako on both Lunch Evolution Theory and Cold War, you'll end up on Rin's path by default.

My problem was that after going through Lilly's and Hanako's paths, I assumed the same would be with Rin and Emi, so I kept on getting Emi's path because I was pushing myself every morning when running.

Suddenly Shizune's path ended... and in my first playthrough I got Kenji.

Ohhh, at first I just could not believe - the end! Although, considering the intentions of Kenji, not the worst.

I got Rin's ending my first time around, just putting myself in Hisao's shoes for decisions, then I decided to see what happens when I ignored everyone.

i tried to get there after my 3rd play through but couldn't figure it out. every time i'd end up with one of the other girls.

If you're going on the Shizune path it's much easier to get the Kenji end.

I did that intentionally. My style is to get the bad endings out of the way and save the best for last.

Nope. First time round I got the Hanako ending and I was happy with that 'cause it was what I was hoping for.

Went for Hanako first, got Kenji.
Aaaand, I actually enjoyed it. I think.

I suddenly found the Kenji path when i was trying for the Shizune path.

I didn't know you died in it until it happened.

The silence at the end freaked me out.

I got Emi's ending by answering according to my own instinct.

I think I got the Kenji ending the second time around...
At first, I thought Hisao was just going to pass out drunk on the roof. Then I heard the -SPLAT-
My first reaction was the regular "WTF just happened?", then I just started laughing at how absurd the ending was.

At first i just answered as i would in RL - and ended with Rin. (as i would probably in RL too).
After that i focussed on Hanako (2nd. Ending) - and, honestly, after that, i just used walkthroughs... so Kenji was the last ending for me.

I played the game expecting hentai. but I found myself taking it seriously right after Hisao's heart attack. pretending I was in his shoes, I played the game again from the top. the middle of playing KS, a classmate of mine spoiled the Kenji ending for me.

I ended up with Kenji's ending falling off a roof. wtf. I was expecting the next scene would be in a hospital bed, paralyzed and bandaged here and there. Credits started creeping up, I was freaking shocked. (Being new to these games I didn't know there was more than 1 ending)

Even being involved in the development process didn't save me from a manly picnic.
