I was wondering if anyone could perhaps enlighten me of some details regarding the Paintings found in the hallways of Yamaku High, particularly of the one below.

I could not find details of it anywhere else, try as I might. As the backgrounds from the game are based on photos I'm inclined to believe the painting actually exists as seen in some Hallway. However, a non-credible source has told me they've been photoshoped into the game.
I would like to know information such as if there is a name to the piece, its composition, date-of-creation, frame size, the name of its painter, painter's gender, painter's lifespan and any other relevant information regarding the paintings found in Katawa Shoujo, if possible.

I painted it in college last year and it took about half an hour.

Everybody gets curious about the painting when they first arrive. But everybody is warned not to go near it. Why? Well...

My personal belief is that the painting is infected with Dark/Devil Gundam cells, accounting for both its evil nature, its odd appearance, and the need for SHINING GUNDAM in the Yamaku Man threads.

It's a painting of the Rainbow Wizard. See, the Rainbow Wizard is the true ruler of the school, who watches over in the shadows. Only those who lack a resistance to magic can see him patrolling the school grounds at night in the form of rainbow cockroaches. Later on you discover that the Rainbow Wizard (Zolstice) tries to revive himself, but in order to do that he needs sacrifices. There's a route you can pick in the full version for him, you aid him in his revival and face off against the Golden Witch.
When the pigeons cry

Coming soon.

I approve greatly of this path.
