Update time.

My first chapter is done, it should make a nice couple of threads one evening soon.
It's a bit long for a single day, but it sets up a story premise for me to work with.
When I get some feedback on it I'll modify my narrative style/depth accordingly.

After a nice discussion with /tg/ on questing/cyoa threads in general I've decided to ease up with the D&D mechanics.
I still will use dice to decide certain outcomes, but the manner will be hidden from the player.
Hopefully it'll all run seamlessly.
I'll probably run the thread sometime this week when I get a free evening.
I've been seeing a lot of questing on /tg/ this past week.
I'll wait until the mods are asleep and see if they'd like some /ks/.

Cheers

I wanted to run a medieval adventure for a while. Fun times. I had a very basic system set up, no dice rolls required. Only thing I'd say is to not overcomplicate things, but it's up to you. I'd be happy to run through it regardless.

Yes thank you.
Thread archived, read at leisure.
I've got classes tomorrow so I'm done for tonight.
Will pickup from that point one evening soon.

Thread just got 404d, but surprising little "get out KSdev." Try at your own risk I'd guess.

Just out of curiosity, was that an autosage death or mods?
Ah doesn't matter.

There were only 118 posts when it 404'd, so odds are it was a janitor.

Think I'll make a thread tomorrow.

Same time as always.

Hmm... I was just thinking... Why don't you guys stop making threads on the damn 4chan if you're so unwelcome there?

Maybe, just maybe it's not a bad idea to make those threads somewhere here, like in the fan fiction Thread page.
UNLESS the thing with making 4chan threads gives you this adrenaline of making something in-danger of being caught and defeated. No idea.

I could be wrong, maybe I don't consider something damn important here. If so, throw vegetables at me.

Most of our fanbase is on 4chan and I don't think the KSDevs would appreciate us making a bunch of threads that get up to 100 pages within a week or so just due to voting

More probably we'd make some sub-subforum where you could circlejerk in peace and without bothering people who don't care about cyoa. I'm not convinced that a traditional forum is the optimal medium for this stuff though.

Hmmm...have y'all considered Google Wave? It's a pretty cool tool, and I'd be glad to hook up one of the devs or forum regulars with an invite - I'm in the beta preview. We get a bunch of invitations to get other people in; I've got like 8 left, and anyone who joins will get invites of their own.
