^Thanks for clearing that up ^^
No, KS is not even remotely utsuge.OtakuNinja wrote:KS is both utsuge and nakige, along with a couple of other genres.
First of all, be sure to check the Nakige and Utsuge tags on VNDB:Frosty015 wrote:I meant Nakige..
KS is a nakige, sure, but definitely not an utsuge.OtakuNinja wrote:KS is both utsuge and nakige, along with a couple of other genres.
Why is that? I know Aura said that he feels Maeda's tactics are sorta underhanded; is that a common opinion from you guys?Silentcook wrote:(Almost) every time someone reminds us that we are grouped in the same neighborhood as KEY, a KS dev cries.
But of course. Making people cry is what made Key famous.Silentcook wrote:(Almost) every time someone reminds us that we are grouped in the same neighborhood as KEY, a KS dev cries.

That was actually perfect.Nobody in Particular wrote:But of course. Making people cry is what made Key famous.Silentcook wrote:(Almost) every time someone reminds us that we are grouped in the same neighborhood as KEY, a KS dev cries.
Depends on how much you enjoy it. If you want to stay in Extra for a bit longer then at least do Ayamine's and Tama's routes. If you just want to move onto Unlimited then just do Meiya's and Sumika's. You won't miss anything other than a few character cameos who will be of some importance in Alternative, so all the non-main routes are perfectly skipable.Flutterz wrote: Also I'm really enjoying what Muv-Luv did with their sprites, really shows that a lot of work was put into it. Speaking of which, is it worth doing any routes other than Meiya's and Sumika's, or should I just rush to Unlimited and then go on to Alternative?

VNs don't have true routes...Flutterz wrote:And now I'm done with Muv-Luv. It was pretty good by itself, but it definitely feels like playing only the main routes of a VN and not doing the true route, but I suppose that's where Alternative steps in, which, unsurprisingly, I'm going to do next. I might go back a bit later and do Yuuko's Unlimited route, but who knows.
Most Key VNs, Ever17 and Steins;Gate, just to name a few, would like a word with you.Xanatos wrote:VNs don't have true routes...Flutterz wrote:And now I'm done with Muv-Luv. Basically you play Muv-Luv for Alternative. Unlimited is like a prologue to Alt (a Chapter 0 if you will) and Extra is basically just for backstory (a Chapter -1 if you will?)Flutterz wrote:And now I'm done with Muv-Luv. Plenty of VNs have true routes. There is even a tag for it on VNDB: http://vndb.org/g181?fil=tagspoil-1.tag ... d;s=ratingXanatos wrote:VNs don't have true routes...
Well, Steins;Gate will get that word. I downloaded it earlier.Flutterz wrote:Most Key VNs, Ever17 and Steins;Gate, just to name a few, would like a word with you.Xanatos wrote:VNs don't have true routes...Flutterz wrote:And now I'm done with Muv-Luv.
