Ultimately, Man had choices. As Jim puts it in a nutshell, "We are who we choose to be."Dream wrote:I don't want to be blunt/rude, but there is so many wrong with that statement that i can't believe i don't feel the energy of saying why is it wrong.YZQ wrote:Being depressed can influence the chances of becoming an idiot. But ultimately, the choice lies in that person.
Xanatos: "Sometimes" might be an understatement
Explain why "Man had choices" in your own words without relying on a quote from i-don't-care-who if you expect me to take your argument seriously.YZQ wrote:Ultimately, Man had choices. As Jim puts it in a nutshell, "We are who we choose to be."

Technically, Hisao is sort of a robot since he's programmed to do certain things by the guys at 4LS lolXanatos wrote:You chose to post that...Dream wrote:Explain why "Man had choices" in your own words without relying on a quote from i-don't-care-who if you expect me to take your argument seriously.YZQ wrote:Ultimately, Man had choices. He'll probably choose to respond.
And I'm choosing to point out the obvious.
As for why we have these choices, it's possibly because we aren't robots.

But, the dog cannot know the full implications of that choice. Us humans can. Unless your brain is damaged in some way, you always have the choice of reacting to your surroundings by instinct, or thinking about your actions and choosing another way.ArcCain wrote:We are humans.
Hell, even my dog can make choices, she could sleep out in the hallway on a pillow or she could sleep in my room using one of my beanbags. She opts for the beanbag as it is way more comfy.
Specifically a sex robot.Jobriq wrote:Technically, Hisao is sort of a robot since he's programmed to do certain things by the guys at 4LS lol
Better a sex robot than ...Hisao Richardson?muliebrity wrote:Specifically a sex robot.Jobriq wrote:Technically, Hisao is sort of a robot since he's programmed to do certain things by the guys at 4LS lol
No, but i just had the hope that simplistic non-sense like "man had choices" won't be spewed out as if it were meaningful in any way. I guess i forgot what forum i'm on.muliebrity wrote:Specifically a sex robot.Jobriq wrote:Technically, Hisao is sort of a robot since he's programmed to do certain things by the guys at 4LS lol
Which is more on topic than where this has gone recently. I don't think we're going to solve the problem of free will, guys.
It's just that, you know, we're talking about anime porn. Not that there's anything wrong with that at all in any way. That's my thought on the H scenes: they are generally a good thing.Dream wrote:No, but i just had the hope that simplistic non-sense like "man had choices" won't be spewed out as if it were meaningful in any way. You know what Hisao wants? The robot tangent was pretty amusing though.
