Although she initiates it... but, yeah, she's not comfortable in that situation. She's baring herself to someone that she's not even sure loves her, that she barely knows, when it's so incredibly painful for her to let others even see her face. To expand: Many people come to me in my life with philosophical, romantic, or psychological questions which I try my best to answer (no wonder I'm thinking about going into school psychology) so I've started to change my speech patterns unconsciously to answer questions that may pop up while I'm answering the current one. Three birds, one stone and a pebble. So, when I explained the psychological need to develop tribal groups, I explained the most common examples of such. The original text was (North vs. South, Black vs. White, High Class vs. Low Class) but I was worried I would draw flak for that. So I danced made the comment unspecific, but it wouldn't fit the list's format, so I had it in a separate sentence. Anyways, comparing the crusades (essentially a holy war) to the Waifu Wars/Favorite character spats that often happen? I suppose I did, in a way. The point was not the analogy of the fighting and dying, but the fact that the two became so easily polarized when a fight was started between two identifiable factions. I could start quoting fighting comments as well, but you seem to have been around long enough to view them. That's part of why I included both derogatory and neutral names in my factions reply, because it would mean standardization of terms, making it easier for new community members to identify a side, and thus join in the fray or, as I, and assumably you, hoped, keep them out of the silly fight because they realized there was one before they got involved.

I apologize if this feels angry or defensive, it's just hard to communicate for me sometimes, so I go into overtime on explanations like this.
